Capt. Scott Rose
Co-Founder / Partner Relations
Scott has had a diverse career that allowed him the privilege to connect with peers in all different parts of the country.
He calls Florida home and has spent the last decade guiding the urban jungles of SE Florida, Everglades National Park, and Biscayne Bay. Scott has spent multiple summers working Alaskan lodges, hosted dozens of groups on Expeditions to the Brazilian Amazon, and has fostered relationships with some of fishing’s biggest names.
These experiences drove him to want to do more for the industry he loves, thus partnering with colleagues to bring the vision of Vally to reality.
Nick Ellis
Co-Founder / Head Of Tech
Growing up in rural northern Minnesota near a powerful outdoor tourism location in Lake of The Woods gave Nick a unique and powerful perspective as our Head of Tech.
Nick has a deep understanding of the needs of outdoor-focused tourism businesses and how to marry that with complex digital solutions with real-world impact. Nick leads our development efforts and works with our entire team to ensure our product roadmap best meets the needs of our partners.
Justin Forrest
Head of Digital Brand Development
Justin has been creating for as long as he can remember. A lifelong outdoorsman, he grew up hunting and fishing in Central Florida amongst the palmettos and the pines. He moved to Jacksonville, FL after landing a gig with a digital marketing agency where he met his mentor, Brian Hanson. He blends his passion for creating with his love of the outdoors to help outdoor businesses get off the ground, grow, and thrive. When he’s not in the office, he can be found in the mountains outside of his Asheville home with a fly rod and a cold beer in his hand.
Justin and his team create stunning websites, PPC advertising campaigns, and drive SEO efforts to ensure our partners have a trusted digital brand partner that understands their business and what needs to be done so it performs well online.
